Breath slowly... Count to ten... I've heard it all in the last few races. Let's just recap for a second for all the off days Petrescu has had in the last months.
- Cheddar Hill Climb TT
- Jamundi Uphill
- Akureyri
- King stage FoW
And now,
Mathikoloni ITT. Ironically he finished 1 place ahead of Sten Hallkvist, the former Twente star, who failed just as miserably. As in all races named above, Petrescu was one of the absolute favourites and management is starting to doubt Romans ability to perform under pressure.
With Race of the Minuteman just a week away, now is the time for Petrescu to show what he is worth, or management might decide to see what he is worth on the open market.
Yet, you can still be a legend. Make us proud Roman!

Federico Vaquero had an off day. Yannik Van Gysel had an off day. Tjeerd Reniers had an off day.
Starting to get frustrated.. :p
I'd hope I wouldn't have made a mistake triggering both guys' top form for next time! Although it worked out pretty well last season. I'd like to come back to RoTM soon, because it's all decided on TT and climbing with little SP, TQ and FR it suits my guys pretty well. That said it is the ideal tour for Petrescu!
I won't have Latey or Graham to worry about, so that's nice :D
Good luck for RoTM.
Petrescu has great support and I hope it's his year and he can put those off days behind him!
